Adam Lewis has been called up to the England U19 squad for the first time for their European Championship elite-round qualifiers in Macedonia later this month.

The Reds U23s full-back - who also captains the club's U18s side - has been named in coach Paul Simpson’s 20-man selection for the fixtures in Skopje.

The Young Lions will face Hungary (March 21), Latvia (March 24) and Macedonia (March 27) as they bid to reach the Euro Finals in Finland this summer.

Lewis has already represented England at U16 and U17 level.
