Liverpool host Watford in the Premier League on Saturday as the clubs meet for only the 30th time.

The last time they clashed at Anfield - a November fixture during the 2016-17 season - Jürgen Klopp's Reds put six past the Hornets.

But how have Liverpool fared in their last 10 matches against Watford?

Scroll down to find out....

1. Salah's goalscoring debut

Mohamed Salah made his Liverpool debut in this opening-day thriller at Vicarage Road and must have thought he'd scored the winner in Klopp's 100th game as Reds manager.

The Egyptian touched in Roberto Firmino's lofted pass at the back post to give the Reds the lead just before the hour mark, but Miguel Britos bundled home a 93rd-minute equaliser for the Hornets.

2. Can's stunner keeps Reds flying high

Emre Can's brilliant bicycle kick at Vicarage Road didn't just win the match and put the Reds in control of the race for a top-four finish - it also scooped a whole host of Goal of the Season awards.

The German's wonder-strike from Lucas Leiva's pass truly was a goal worthy of winning any game.

3. The joy of six

Georginio Wijnaldum scored his first goal for Liverpool to complete this six-goal thrashing of Walter Mazzarri's side and hand Watford their joint-heaviest defeat in Premier League history.

The Reds registered 17 shots on target - the highest total by a Premier League team since Opta records began in 2003 - to go top of the table for the first time under Klopp.

4. Firmino gets the job done

Coming just 72 hours after Liverpool had beaten Villarreal to claim a place in the final of the 2015-16 Europa League, Klopp's much-changed side won again at Anfield.

Substitute Firmino secured the points after Joe Allen had opened the scoring.

5. Reds feel Hornets' sting

The first meeting between Liverpool and Watford in eight years was certainly one to forget for the travelling Reds fans.

A goal from Chelsea loanee Nathan Ake and an Odion Ighalo double sank Klopp’s side at Vicarage Road.

6. Crouch at the double

After suffering back-to-back Anfield cup defeats to Arsenal, Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez opted for a 3-4-3 formation that got his side back to winning ways.

Two of the Reds' front three duly got on the scoresheet against Adrian Boothroyd's Watford.

Craig Bellamy opened the scoring and goals either side of half-time from Peter Crouch capped off an impressive performance.

7. Bellamy hits his stride

Liverpool's final home game of 2006 gave fans an early Christmas present. Bellamy scored his fourth league goal in four games and a Xabi Alonso screamer added some gloss to what was a fifth successive Premier League win for the Reds.

"Bellamy is showing the sort of quality we bought him for," Benitez said after the match. "He has such pace and can get behind defences, while setting up chances for colleagues."

8. Captain strikes to book cup final date

Steven Gerrard scored the only goal in this League Cup semi-final second leg as Benitez guided Liverpool to a final in his first season at Anfield.

It was also Igor Biscan's 100th game for the club.

9. One foot in the final

Luis Garcia went close with a 25-yard effort and Florent Sinama-Pongolle volleyed over from close range before skipper Gerrard struck to give Liverpool the victory in this cup clash.

The Reds would finish the job at Vicarage Road two weeks later.

10. Smicer sets Reds back on track

Vladimir Smicer's first Liverpool goal turned out to be the winner in a thrilling encounter against Graham Taylor's relegation-threatened Watford at Vicarage Road.

The victory saw Gerard Houllier’s side return to winning ways after back-to-back defeats to Blackburn Rovers and Tottenham Hotspur.
